Wellington Girls’ College will enter one crew into the interschool Dragon Boat Festival. Trials are held in term 4, and a crew is selected from there. Paddlers must be competent swimmers.
The crew will take part in two events:
Harbour Fun Day - Saturday 18th February 2017
Dragonboat Festival - Sunday 12th March 2017
Training
Monday and Wednesdays for 4 weeks starting 13th Feb. 5pm-6pm starting at the Lagoon.
Uniform
WGC Dragon Boat singlet (supplied)
Black shorts. Knee pads recommended.
Thermal - BLACK only
Cost
$80 (includes competition and training fees)
There will be an additional cost of a team t-shirt should you wish to purchase one.
Registration
Once selected in the team, you must submit a registration form online, and pay $80.
